I am sure everyone has heard of mini fire steels and torches on zipper pulls. But What else can you comfortably attach thats still compact and useful?

I don't really have any plans, I would just like to know what my options are.

I used to have a goretex jacket with a thermometer on the zip. It was never the same after it got below minus 35°C!

I sometimes clip on a peanut lighter, available from Deal Extreme for about £1.50 (About 1/10th the cost of the much heavier US version). Don't be fooled by the description - it uses lighter fuel, not 'oil'. Get 2 and put one in your emergency kit. Heck, get 10 for stocking fillers.

Sad to say, though, my most used zip toggle is a money capsule. You can pick one up from Go Outdoors for about £1.50, or peanuts from the DX site 'described as a pill capsule'.
