I haven't seen it for years and saw some in a Pharmacy last night and bought it.

It's going into my kit straight away. From leeches to cuts, mossie bite and headaches its so versatile and can replace other stuff in your kit. The container is very lightweight too.

It is absolutely brilliant. I've used it on small cuts, abrasions, cracked lips, areas sore from chafing, mild burns and so on. Wonderful stuff. I reckon it should be in everyone's first aid kit/pocket all the time.

The closest I've come to it must be this, sam-buc-a.
Also good for ails and pains, downside is it also creates some...

Sounds a bit like "Climb On!" which is a great little tin of healing as well. It contains some of the same ingredients as too.

Last night I found a copy of my county newspaper from 1946 and there was an advertisement for Zam-Buk on the front page.
