contact your local Forestry Commission office and they may be able to help you, but it depends on what you want to be able to do with it. If you go on the FC web site it will have the details you will need

Why not try the personal approach? Try finding out who owns the local forrests around you and ask the person, in return you can offer to clear it up or other forestry work for them.
