Wild Hammock Camping.. help!

Hi Guys

im looking throwing my tarp and hammock in my back pack and heading out for a day or two (leave the missus and all worries at home) and just get back to nature but i dont want to go to some commercialised campsite, i would like to find a forest hang my hammock and watch the bushmans telly. is there anybody that knows a good spot (where i wont get shot at or arrested) in south england? i live in Reading but happy to travel a bit if needed.

Whippendell Woods near Watford - council owned, plenty of space. Let me know if you're interested, I often go for a night out there, as its a half hour walk from my home.

Check out the Sussex group on here. We meet one weekend a month every month at broadstone warren near east grinstead. Good mix of bushcrafters and always a fire going.
