ok guys...dd hammocks have some bad news for us they were hoping to have the tarps ready for us by the end of May...but were let down buy their supplier..they have been looking for a new supplier and have found one....but these a big BUT....they have a new supplier but...well....i'll put down what nick sent me...

well.....i have no problem with keeping this gb open till dd have the green tarps in. or if any of you would like you could have the ones that dd has in at the moment.
as for the guys who only want a hammock or webbing or net hammock i can ask dd to send them out early..but the cost will depend on how many people are in the gb.
the tarp is a very popular item in this group buy so i think there is going to be one two of you good people not to happy at this news.so let me know what you think...

I wondered what was going on when I looked at the DD website and there was a distinct lack of products.
For what it's worth I am willing to leave my name on the list with the option to revue/remove when and if the stock comes available. If it's going to be much more than a couple of months I think I'll be pulling out.

I'm happy to wait for a lightweight tarp without a limit on time to supply but only if it's in OG . But if they can't do OG then I'll pull out if that's ok.
I'm also happy to wait till they have the tarp in Olive. Any other colour just offends my sensibility.

I only want an OD/OG lightweight too. I'm happy to stay in whilst the search continues.
DD may want to know that the majority of people are not going to want coloured tarps especially light coloured underneath. If they buy those in any large quantity to stock, I think they'll have difficulty shifting 'em.
