Hi Guys

Having saw Jacks ( Wiltshireman?) video on his version of a take down saw, I really had to try this out.

Really is easy to do, well worth the effort. I made a wee change though ( as yi do ! ) I rebated the cross spar in the centre , to take

the rebated spindle. Gives a nice flush finish, I also put a small nut/bolt through, for peace of mind lol

More than likely Tom. Be handy as I intend to attach to outside of the 'sack.

Sure I have some spare canvas that can be fashioned into a sleeve carry bag,
lol, be that or some ripstop nylon.

Very nice, I notice the bolt on the sawblade is right at the edge, and looks like you resized it. IS this to have a more secure seating of the blade?

I actually had it originally in the centre but that was stopping the blade from turning properly into the rebated sides when broken down.

The size is still the same, I used pan head slotted screwbolt, they are quite big headed, reason? I can use a coin to turn the slots if needed.
