Thanks Viking. Thats useful. I may get the swedish version but its a bit on the heavy side. The mini trangia appeals to me for one person.
P.S. Why the red paint?

I have used the minitrangia, but did not really like because it has no windshield and the pot is too small. But for day trips or for military use it works well.
If you are worried about the weight check out the trangia 27 (860g).

Dont know why the fryin pan is red, it has been around for over 15 years now, so maybe red was popular in the 80´s.

Buy two and they would double as emergency shoulder pads...in the 80's one was never without emergency shoulder pads...

and if you could cook with them too, well...!

Mine arrived yesterday - 1963 newspaper too!
Now to be patient, as it's actually a chrissie pressie for my step son.
Now, could you do a x-mas pudding in one?

You could cook a chrisy Pudding but you'd have to start cooking it now for 2005.

I order two on Wednesday one was ment to be a presi for the Brother inlaw but he is a little slow and did'nt pick up on my hints

I qoute myself:
"Don't buy one christmas is not the far away  "

So now I have a spare one it worked out well in the end.

Just wondering wich newspaper it´s wrapped in and what was the news in 1963?

FOLKET Mandagen den 6 Maj 1963

Random headlines " Mystiik och slump ingredienser i tva Eskilstuna-brander"

or "Tunabergsbo vann sormlandsk jakstig"

Whatever this means? :?:

Nick, I ordered mine last Thursday evening on the website and it arrived this Thursday morning - they suggest it can take five working days.

I think I've found out the way to make things be delivered when you want them - soon as I clicked submit to saying it hadn't arrived, there was a knock on the door and it'd arrived :)

Looks quite different to the one I had already: it's far more compact and a lot lighter. I cant wait to play with it. If only there weren't fire alarms in the office......
