Top notch meet again. Big thanks to Spandit for inviting us all to his parachute party, and allowing us to have a fire under it. Thanks to Simon for the top tips for sharpening. Andy for sorting the chute and bits. JC for the fire wood. Hugo for the chute bag and making my pocket that little bit lighter and to Bill and his troop of performing squirrels for the Friday night entertainment.

It was also great to see our fellow crafters from Suffolk. Hope you guys enjoyed yourselves and we look forward to gate crashing one of your meets one day. Always good to craft in a new bit of the world.

Bruce, I hope we didn't scare your lovely lady off bushcrafting?

Wish I could have stayed, but prior commitments and all that.

See you all at the next one.

Just got home and out of the shower......

Thanks for a great weekend, and a very warm welcome, good to meet you guys/girls in Sussex, and meet such a large group with very wide range of experience, it was good to share knowledge in both directions, I hope the little Hammock and Tarp session Tony and I gave was helpful to all the new/interested tree swingers, any question just ask, Just got to get my whoopie slings made then I can show you what they are and how they work.

As soon as we can get a permission arranged then it would be good to have you visit us, we will def return to see you hopefully for the July meet just got to check dairy's.

I'll get the pics i took up soon.

Thanks to everyone for being so friendly and engaging at the weekend, I had a good time.
Mind you I must have left my new frying pan and red enamel mug by the fire as I didn't bring it home with me, (this is where Hugo weeps into his freshly made coffee).
See you all next meet.

Glad you all had a good time & it was nice to meet more new local(ish) Buschcrafters. Am tired so will post more later but I did find a bag by the fire with what looks like some of Hugo's bits, which I will keep till the next meet if you want.

Thanks all for a great meet. I think that was one of the most successful ones yet. Good to see a few new faces too, and nice to meet you Suffolk boys, we'll visit you when a get a spot sorted. There was a great amount of skills swapped this time, so thanks to all involved in that, particularly Neil with the bow drilling. We can do the leatherwork that we ran out of time for at the next one. Thanks to Dave for organising and Andy and Robin for sorting the chutes. I picked up a plastic '58 pattern mug that was left behind, so someone is missing one somewhere, let me know who you are and I'll send it on. See you all next month!

I'll hang on to it until I see you then. I forgot to thank WildBill for the setting tool, let me know what knife I'm making a sheath for and I'll have it done for next time. And also thanks to Hugo for the Buck knife.
