Snow in South Lanarkshire

Just thought I'd post a few photos of the amount of snow that has fallen around my home town of East Kilbride in the last 24 hours

It’s about a foot deep...haven’t seen snow this deep around here for years

Was even thinking of a wee winter overnighter in my local woods

...and it's coming down on us again. It was sunny earlier this morning though so it's thawed and gone slushy underneath on the paths though.

I took the opportunity during the wee sunny spell earlier to clear the garden path, it was badly needing it!

Trying to avoid putting rock salt down though...it's a nightmare to keep off the floors, especially two sets of salty wee paw prints everywhere...end up constantly mopping up after the dogs!
