Brother came up for a few days so we headed out for a walk round the coast. Came across some seal pups.

Lovely pics. We get the odd grey seal down here, but very much a rarity to see them.

The beach shown doesnt normally get seals either, ive only ever seen one there in the last 8yrs.This year there are lots. Just to say these pics were taken with my brothers camera with a zoom lens so at not to disturb them.The first pic showing the bent rock formations were formed when what is now the Scottish and English plates met forcing one to be pushed over the other.

I have always thought of seals as unspeakably exotic creatures, but now I live 40 minutes drive from a seal beach.

unlike yours, mine sleep soundly.
