Microlite chain is about a tenner out of Screwfix.
You'll need to split it, and get the length right for the correct tension. Once set up they work well, and you have the added advantage that, with a little bit of practice, they're easy to sharpen. If you make your own frame, when you disassemble it, the chain rolls up small and is easily packed.
