I know.. I met you at the Moot ;) ... wasn't having a dig btw.. Bouancy aids are sized according to physical size (so you don't slip out of them in the water) and bouyancy, in terms of the amount of 'lift' they give... Us 'big lads  ' need more bouancy than you delicate young ladies :) . They usually have plenty of size adjustment using straps and buckles.

It'll be fun - just relax and enjoy the ride.. you'll have a great time :D

I caught this thread too late :(

I have a kayak and will definitely be interested in coming on any future paddles.

I'll be further upstream on the Goyt this evening.

Silkstone, Blighty!
Sorry Greg, I went bushwhacking with The Ratbag and Scruff. Scruff hasn't been on here in a while now, but he's doing fine and still cooks possibly the best bannock in the land. We ate like kings, and I even ate celery which I used to hate. It seems that it is OK when cooked, fancy that!

Anyway, I hope your day went well and you canoed the correct way up this time! Gagging to see some pictures! :D

Thanks soar, though I 90% hitched a lift!!

Did anyone find out what all the rubber ducks were?

Ps - I just made a typo and typed "rubber dicks" that would really have got people wondering!

Right, I've finally got round to registering on here.

Thanks Greg for getting me out on the water again. It was fun until the next day when my legs were so stiff I could hardly walk!!

Hope we can do it again sometime.
