Hiya....been making a ton of axe masks for the upcoming shows....this turned out rather nicely....(not been edgekoted yet)

and a car I made for Olivers 5th birthday after seeing the one made by Sir Sandbender....(just a bit of fun so you woodworkers, dont go getting all critical on me lol).....he managed to break one of the axles (evidently i make below-par toys) so i had to fix it up again so grabbed a coupla pics....

May I suggest bamboo satay skewers for axles? I have 3 different diameters. The biggest might go 3/16".
They can be firm but elastic in longer pieces and very solid as shorter pegs in any glue-up.
They do glue up very nicely.
No faults in the car. Big measures of love and effort in that design.

Love the car I'm sure Oliver will too.

As for the Axe Sheath perhaps you can get His Nibbs to endorse at the show - not quite By Royal Appointment but close.
