Super stuff and well done to her. I've nursed for some years and do know that giving blood really does save lives.

Blimey, don't let the picture put you off, as they may say "your going to feel a small *****" and thats about it, don't hurt once its in.

I am over the fifty mark now, started when I was 18... When my brother died 18 months ago I had only a week before given my 50th donation, he was a recipient of bloods due to being on dialysis every other day due to kidney failure from Amyloidosis, so having a daughter hopefully following in my foot steps there will be a lot more people benefitting from our little bit...
