We had a great time out in the woods of Glen Tanar for the weekend. It was a bit wet on the Thursday and everything was sodden wet, the rest of the weekend was a bit chilly with Sunday, the day we left, the weather was pretty fine.

Thanks to Craig for organising it and thanks to the chefs.

We were pretty well fed for the entire meet, with steak on the Thursday evening, haggis neeps and tatties on the Friday and a lovely Waggoners stew on the Saturday. Sunday was a bacon fest for breakfast, fry all the bacon we had left over and munch it down. Oh and not forgetting the lovely phesant that was cooked by Nickliv & Adze, simply lovely.

There was an abundance of pignut at this site which was fantastic to eat.

We also had a some visitors from the Duke of Edinburgh group that were camping nearby, they were pretty interested inw hat we were doing and we had a bit of show and tell with them with out kit and natural tinders.

Anyway pictures speak more than words....
