I have just the dimond bit before it is attached to the steel with a peel off sticky backing so you can stick it to anything

they come with the ranger puukkos (your supposed to stick it on the sheath)

i still got problems finding a good tutorial on the macramé lanyard.
can you help out please?

never heard of the knot, but it looks perfect.
can you untie the macramé knot quickly?

i'm using the butterfly stich, to shorten up the rope and to use as a lanyard (carrying my blade under armpit).

will the macramé suit better for this?

Faca's lanyard looks like it's a cobra stitch. Have you tried these tutorials?

Hello Dutchman cobra knot is the same as macrame, use the link Stew has shown you.
Yes the knot unties very easy.
If you want to put more cord lenght you always can out more than two threats into.
Enjoy.
