I might have to change my plans and come in the morning, will there still be room for my hammock, apart from that I'm packed and ready to go.

gah, wish i could make it.
let me know when the next one is please guys i'll head on over with my friends and my son ;)
he's dying to get out camping with daddy hehe

It was cold. Very cold. Oh yeah, and muddy. I wussed out and went home on Saturday night, cos I wasn't feeling very well and didn't fancy freezing for a second night. Now my house is full of mud too ...

Still had a damn good time though )

Thanks to Simon M for sorting it all out, and to everyone else for being good mates (again).

Yup, I want to second that. It was my first meet, really enjoyed it, learnt lots and everyone was so friendly and helpful. Thanks especially to neanderthal for lending me a hammock- I am now a fully converted tree dweller.

Looking forward to the next one

Gutted.
I just popped onto the meetups forum to see what was on and saw this.

I would have loved to be camping out this weekend - the girlfriend would have hated it though (she said as much herself when I told her I'd love to have been out camping when it started snowing earlier).

Glad you all had a good one.

great meet Simon, thanks once again for the hard work.
Nice to meet you all again.
we really clicked for the weather I think, makes things much more enjoyable.

Anyone leave a black chair by the big fire circle? It was a case of leave it to get skipped or look after it till it's claimed. It will be available for the owner to collect from the next meet at coventry or worsley.:)
