I notice that there are regularly requests along the lines of "is there anyone who could make me a ..."
I wonder whether some sort of makers list could be made up, so that people can see who makes what.
Could be done on a voluntary sign-up basis, so that makers can choose to post in the thread (possibly make it a sticky) to say "Hi I'm so-and-so, and I make leather knife sheaths (or whatever)". That way makers who don't want to do this are not compelled to take part.
It would make it easier for people to find suitable makers if they wanted to commission a piece of work.
Just thinking aloud. Maybe restrict the list to full members only. I don't know.
