There’s a thought: what’s the pronunciation guidance for Kephart in the dictionary?
As Kephart was American, how would an American pronounce that name?
Its pronounced Kep as in Kept............and Heart
If you look at the video, even his own Granddaughter pronounces it like that.
Yes, I watched that video this afternoon... Her accent sounds very North Carolina, to me; I really like it. Reminds me of family over there, and the time I've spent there.
A very nice place, I've spent a bit of time over there myself, more on the Tennessee side, rather then the Carolinas, though I have visited Cherokee
a few time, love the Gt Smoky mountains, they know how to cater for campers over there without ripping them off.
I would find someone called Kephart and ask them.
But Im sure his Grandaughters knows.
Mike Stewart pronounces it Kep-hart ... well, nearly. Sort of slurs over it to make a 'bv' sort of sound
Makes a good looking version of it too ... which just sent a twinge of panic through my wallet. That's what noodling on the DLT website gets you
