Hello,

Just wanted to introduce myself, and hopefully this won't be my one and only post.

My name's Dave, I live in Lincoln and teach Creative Advertising.

I'm on a bit of a mission, I'm a new dad to a 16 week old little boy, so I've set myself the task of learning as much as I can about bushcraft/camping/outdoors to pass on when he's old enough to carry a pocketknife, 3 years I guess

I love the outdoors but have zero bushcraft experience. Over the past year or so I've been practicing bits and bobs but have yet to camp out in a wood which is what I really want to do.

Anyway, it's nice to meet you all.

Ogri the trog - fantastic name

Bigstan - the Old Wood is on my door step - often see the odd tarp through the trees but not sure if anyone is allowed to camp there anymore.
