    Hi All,

How about having a glossary thread for all the acronyms that pepper the boards (SAK, EKA, EDC and so on) as well as other terms. Maybe even add a relevant link or two.

This could be for not only bushcraft related things but anything anyone wants to add.

I feel it would be a valuable reference tool for newbies (such as myself  ) .

Maybe start it as a thread (probably best as a sticky under Bushcraft Chatter actually) then if it gets to a decent size I wouldn't mind compiling it into an article if it's worth it.

    Good idea?

Here is my input to kick it off....

    SAK: Swiss Army Knife (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swiss_army_knife)

    Cheers chaps,

They were quite hidden as they were a couple of years old now. Maybe as Roving Rich suggested it should be made sticky?

    Matt.

That would definitely get my vote - and not just acronyms, but also other
jargon-y terms relating to tools and kit would be really useful.

It's probably most helpful as a Word document (ease of sorting alphabetically
using the Table / Sort menu) but I'm not sure that's practicable here.
