Yes, paint a dog turd with that and it flies away. Anyway, a gentleman who stays near my brother used to let his dog foul my brother's land. So my brother's wife went out and collected all the dog mess she could find in a plastic bag, and put it through the guys letter box. Never had any problem after that.
Back to litter and the depressing inability of people to take it home with them and forcing others to clean up after them. Perhaps on sunny bank holidays and school holidays we could instigate voluntary wardens at beauty spots. I for one would happily volunteer. Give them the right to photograph perps if they refuse to clear up after themselves and take their vehicle registration in case they give a false name and address.
They would soon have the law out if you left your own fouling on their property and call you all the names under the sun. Good for your brothers wife! Direct action. I love that. If I could have done a double like I would have.

We do that here. My Rotary club, other voluntary organisations.
The problem is that those yobs that mess think they can continuing messing as we pick it up.
Hmm. Let's think about this. Sunny day, enjoying ones self in the countryside, or picking up someone else's rubbish ? Hard call.
It is liberating to walk on the world famous Seven Mile beach, and pick up other peoples rubbish.....

Like I say .. it needs to be more than just picking up after them or as you say they will keep on doing it expecting others to clear up after them.
I would say three strikes as regards littering and you spend a year out cleaning the streets .. no pay!

I am happy to do it as I know it might save a kiddy spending a few hours at the ER.

^^^^^^^^^^Still voluntary for body shops despite what the article says. Body shops here still match whatever was the original paint and as stated most manufacturers didn’t switch until the 20 teens. Some still haven’t.

All that said, lower VOC paints begun making the rounds at least as far back as the 1980s (the first time I saw them in the shop) possibly earlier. But they were still oil based at that time. The newer water based ones should be better ——- eventually ——— oncqe the older cars with oil,based OEM are basically off the road.
And yes, aviation paint is a bit different from auto paint. Aviation paint is too expensive to use on autos usually, but if you can afford it, it’s preferred. I have watched as another painter sprayed an auto (a sports car the owner wanted to compete in car shows) with aircraft paint. It was beautiful! Expensive; but beautiful.

You do have the right to photograph anything in public anyway, you do not need to be given this right.
Weather other people believe you and how narky they get is another thing...
anyway if I was a woman [well this answer stands for either gender really] I'd want to carry the least weight possible

Oh dear - wrong thread with regards to the last part of that post - I thought this was another thread. Although in my defence I wouldn't be surprised if spray painting poop would come up in the other one!

This is the sort of thing that I'm on about. This is a picture that appeared in the local press a couple of years ago. Everything, including awning etc was left. This, believe it or not, is all too common.
There is (understandably) a strong campaign for a blanket ban on wild camping because of this. What I do find rather puzzling however, is that when a ban is exposed, there always seems to be the necessary powers to enforce it, but never the same powers are available to check those who leave a mess.

All that useful stuff!!!! Looks something unexpected happened.
I came upon a such site in the Lofoten, a very inaccessible area. Told the police. What I have been told after was that the guy ( a French tourist) disappeared. Probable fell into the sea and drowned.

No. Standard practice. Out from the city for a mindless weekend, leave everything, then off home. Just like "Glastonbury" .
I've been at the aftermath of "T in The Park" where a tent is bought and used solely as a toilet, and leave the weekends contents. Lovely.

We have a small pull in just in front of the gate which gets used a lot by car drivers.
I have no problem with people using it, its just the amount of crap they leave behind.
It always seems to involve wine bottles and beer cans.
The last litter pick was a bottle of cheap Lambrusco wine and a can of Lynx after shave. So I guess they were not there discussing
Ash die back and its effects on local forestry.
