Bushcrafting in Hampshire

Hi all, I'm fairly new to the area,(Eastleigh), and would like to know if any landowners that have woods give wild camp's permission, I don't drive so it needs to be local, I'm 71 and have been a hunter gatherer since childhood, nothing like it for me, originally from Warwickshire. Appreciate any guidance hooker: mosquitos::

Has anyone trained with sunrise bushcraft in the new forest? Looking for the best place to train to a level i can train others. I live in southampton uk. If anyone could advice the best way to do this i do have a part time job but id like a career in bushcraft and outdoor activitys.

Anyone up for a meet?

Although there are a lot of old posts, I can see there are people near me (Aldershot and Camberley) as well as people in Southampton and Portsmouth. I'm thinking an initial meet near Petersfield or Winchester in March or April, just a pub visit, some bushcrafty chat and maybe a walk if there's somewhere suitable nearby.

In response to mavfreeman I've been down to their site and had a great couple of days.
Make sure the course you book is at your level though. I received mine as a gift and personally would've booked something more advanced if I went again. I did go back though. James is a lovely guy and his team very friendly and knowledgable

Hey Danners, I'm at the Sussex meet on the 11th/12th so that's okay. How about Saturday 18th March, somewhere near Petersfield? I'd be good to get 3 or 4 at least but I'll still go it'll it's only us two.

I'll need to check this with the Mrs first. Would've defiantly gone to the Sussex meet this weekend if it wasn't for her birthday on the 11th (and it's a big'n!) Petersfield is just down the road for me so perfect! Keep me posted and I'll let you know
