Hey up all its sad day today considering the news.

It only seems fitting we all meet

Here are the piccys from last weekend so you can see the state of the place. Lots of firewood and abit more room for those on the ground.

Aye mate like we said on the phone a sad day indeed, I'm deffo up for next weekend at Brockers, I'll bring a drop of my Slisky that he was fond of and we can raise a toast to him by the fire.

Not sure if Friday and Saturday yet but definitely on for the Saturday night, I'll hopefully be testing out my new quilt I've bought today :)

You know how it works, Copy and paste......

Sorry not on site much, Out of curiosity, which news are you referring to chaps?

This Brockwell Woods sounds a decent place from site, Think I'll have to get up there at some point or maybe on a meet :)

[edit] Are you referring to the cut-down trees in pics?

May have to rethink this scout meeting if its still on! I think it more fitting for me to attend this instead!

Just hope I have no home troubles in the middle of the night this time! lol!

And think that nip of sliskey would be very welcoming in that toast of a dear bushcraft buddy!

Maybe a dumb question to ask lads but do I have to pay any funds if I'm just popping over for a few hours.
Don't want to turn up and look a pillock if asked to pay and didn't bring cash thanks all.

Just had a horrible thought guys! When I booked the pitch a few weeks ago I was a bit disheartened with the lack of interest in both weekends, I had informed steph regarding this and she asked me the back end of last week if she could cancel this weekends dates as she had more bookings to fit in! I agreed!
However ive just gotten off the phone with her and all is still ok! The dates were cancelled but pitch 11 is still available. Phew!
