OK Simon, put me down for this one. Don't think Ben will be coming though. He seems to find girls more interesting than his old man. Ahh well, it had to happen sometime.

OK, a couple of questions if I may Simon:

Can we use open fires in fireboxes off the ground or do we have to stick to their fire sites ?

Is wood on site for a general camp fire or do you want us all to bring some like Middlewood last Jan ?

And more generally, I have an old climbing rope 10mm by 50 m, a couple of pouches and an Iisaki pukko to trade -not sure what I want - any interest from anyone attending ?

regards

Altar type fires are provided on site - more than enough to go round, but if you want to use your own feel free. But...all fires must be off ground!

Firewood, usually, in the form of pallets is on site - if you want "real" wood for cooking, bring your own would be my advice!

As for the rope etc, bring it and see what crops up!

Sorry folks but i'm not going to be able to make this after all. My OU work has suffered due to work being so busy so i'll have to catch up with it all this weekend.

Hope to make the next one, & i'll be back up north this summer.

As Cliv says, Blackburn is the nearest station Linz...if you are stuck from there send me a PM & I'll give you my mobile number.

I could be with you within 20 minutes or so from the campsite.
