been given a new unused dpm pattern bivvi bag serial numbered, mummy shaped single zip at head.
sadly came with no poles, although it has ability to be used with poles.
it has securing points around edge&cord attached at zip opening at the head.
as i am in the process of getting kit together thought it would make useful addition.
any tips on how to adapt to use without poles would helpful.

Sorry no photo,I have no camera, on closer inspection has army serial number but no maker mark or label so i assume this piece of kit is genuine british army issue.

In the woods if possible.
You can probably get some poles from one of the outdoors sellers. I got some for my bivi because those it came with were a bit too long for my pack when stowed. It's just a matter of finding some of about the right diameter, with enough curvature, and long enough. You can cut some down if necessary, to make what you need.
