I am currently teaching a couple of bright young lads the basics of leatherworking - One of them is doing it as his DofE skill. Their next project will be belt pouches, made with a couple of different methods of construction. So, since its been a will since I made anything using box construction, thought I had best practice.... So today I made this little pouch, with lacing up the back. Not one hundred percent happy with the lacing method to be honest....

Also made this the other day to hold my multitool/torch and firesteel, based on something that Roger Harrington uses.

love the multitool/torch and firesteel setup - been thinking of making something like it shoulder sling style...

Nice work there Bard goodjob

Personally I'd have gone for the lacing to be at the front of the pouch rather than the back for more of a feature :)
