I can see that sort of tech getting built into assault rifles as a way of skipping good training and minimising rounds waisted , so making a soldier more efficient. Still think it's not the way a sporting chap would want to go though.

Long range snipers in the military have similar systems. Impressive but seems a bit cheaty to me

It's great technology, but doesn't seem to sporting. Granted, fair chase is a vague concept, but doesn't seem to fit for me. It's not my style of hunting. It's also insanely expensive. Seems like it would be used by the type of guy who pays insane amounts of money to go hunt exotic game in Africa while staying in a truck 1500 yards away. :/ To each his own.

It should be pointed out though that hunting with such a scope is illegal just about everywhere, at least in the US.

Still doesn't make a good shooter, as any good shooter already knows, but it might make a good shooter better.

Most bad shooters don't have a problem pointing the rifle, but trouble starts when they try to squeeze the trigger, not many rifles can predict trigger snatch improper follow through, improper breathing to name a few.

Too much done by computer and not by the guy with the gun.

They say a 20fps (+/- 10fps) variation in shots as though its good. Not really. I've had air rifles which have had a max of 8fps vari (+/- 4fps) At distance that 20fps variation counts as inches in poi shift
