Exactly Duggie . It'd be perfect for use in bear country as when you hear a nearby roar you won't mess the hammock.
I've been thinking about other functions one could add into a hammock and I think a device that automatically cuts the straps when someone whistles the sound a mocking Jay makes from hunger games would be a nice touch. Especially when someone is snoring nearby.

You give the person organising the group buy your order and you pay them (will be BACS, paypal on other depending on the ORGANISER's preference).
Depending on the group buy the order will be delivered to the organiser by the company and then by the organiser to you OR (as is normal for this one) the Company deliver direct to you.
When the thread is opened for ACTUAL group buy you COPY the last entry into a new post (not reply) and add your name and order.
Only when the minimum number of orders is reached is the group buy on and you pay the organiser, but I think last year's DD group buy was over in a day.
If possible I would like to put down for three quilts if available to kit the family out, cheers.

looking forward to this group buy opening, been looking at there website for a few weeks and filling the shopping basket, just haven't pressed the check out button.

Same here...I'm thinking xl tarp- has anyone used one? Can you actually get 2 hammocks under it or is it a logistical nightmare?
Can you put me down for a quilt if you can get any more please. I spent too long thinking about it.
