No worries bud. We're having another in November. Missed a great time though.

I also learned how to make knife sheaths (thanks blacksheep).

Unfortunatley I wasnt able to join bigbear and tonyg on navigation lesson as it was late start in day so that was a real shame. Looking forward to next time though as really want to get to grasps with it. Tried few times before but cant get it to stick in.

Will post some more pics up when home :)

Hello everyone. Packed up early due to imminent rain. All packed up by about 12.00. Also the wind was getting up and a few dead branches came down. I think we all had a good time. Got the pheasant pen down, which was the main job of the day, so now we have some netting to put round the perimeter fence to keep livestock out.

Adz and Copperhead made excellent sheaths, under the expert eye of Blacksheep,
Bigbear (he was cuddly really) ran a navigation class . unfortunately the takeup was small. But Zheng was the only student. So at least he had 1 to 1 tuition. I am sure Adam will be back on with some photo's when he gets home.

Adam will be running future meets, on the ground. I will still be in the background to help out. November and February may be out for me actually staying out. But I am hoping to put an appearance in on Saturdays.

We ran a raffle to help with the funds for buying the extra equipment. Tom, digitracker, kindly donated some books. They are the modern day SAS Survival Guide. This months winner was Blacksheep. Adam has your book Rich. He will give it to you at the next meet.

Couple of pics for everyone, sort iPhone pics only.

Had a really great time even though I could only do one night due to work, but ill deffo be coming in November for longer.

Really good meeting other like minded people that are local to me and a site that's 20minutes from my house but which still feels pretty secluded.

Really hope this local group keeps going and doesn't loose momentum. :0)
