    Hello from Devon

Hi, and welcome! I'm fairly new myself and from Somerset - whereabouts in Devon are you?

Some Pic's with my new camera (Pic Heavy)

Yeah they're great! For some reason I particularly love the second and penultimate ones..

    Tree ID

It was in the hedge of a field, if that's any help. Yeah it's fairly small, and I was inclined towards maple too, but I thought the bottom lobes weren't large enough. Is it possible these are just early leaves not fully grown yet? I'll take some more photos when I'm home again on Friday..

    Crocs

They're just.. I don't know - I can appreciate they're comfortable and practical definitely, but then, they're all gross and plastic and they have holes in them - what's with that! And it really bugs me the way they have crocs which are fur-lined for winter, and yet they still have holes in...

    Crocs

I'm afraid I hate them so much I even wrote an article in the school magazine about how much I hate them  (I'd been forced into the editorial team so it was compulsory to do something :p)

    Tree ID

Hi everyone - I was wondering if you could help me identify this: I think it's maple or sycamore, but I don't know..

What sleeping bag did you use if it cost you under £10? Oooh or was it just the old sleeping bag so you didn't have to buy it

    Movie: "Into the Wild"

:p I know! But I swear he was cooking some, then he saw maggots on the stuff he wasn't cooking, and stopped cooking the other stuff or something!? Dunno, I got confused

Anyone interested in a long bushcrafting session?

I'd be REALLY interested, although my gap year doesn't start until next year :( Want to put off yours until then? :D You could maybe look out for people going on gap years though - there must be some sort of gappy organisation thing where people talk about where they want to go etc..

Sooo I snapped the tip off

Awesome, thanks everyone - I think I've pretty much done it now, hopefully! It looks nice and curved again, anyway..

the 2nd DD group buy for hammocks and tarps

I meant of the new lightweight tarp itself, but actually reading his first post again he says he'll updated when he gets the prices, so I doubt he has yet :p

Sooo I snapped the tip off

I snapped the tip off of my Mora clipper *oops*.. I'm not going to tell you how I did it because you'll then all tell me off for bad knife behaviour! But basically I was wondering how to correct that - I've read the tutorials etc but they seem to cover only everyday sharpening - not when there's...
