    A small collecton of skulls

It’s 100% a badger. Juveniles 12 months and under haven’t developed the crest yet and are smooth like that. And the jaws aren’t locked in either at that age.

    Sold Wilkinson Sword Survival Knife

Purely Ray Mears. I have the patents for this knife and it’s his design 100% apart from the bottle opener. Loftys survival tool has a similar blade design but he had no input on the WS design at all.

I’ve got the studio version as I mainly use it for playing music. To just ask it to play something is far easier than going to the cd collection and rummaging through and then changing it. And quicker than using a phone too. And there’s nothing to connect to activate beforehand like you have...

    A rare treat!

Fantastic. I haven’t seen one for years now.

What are your favourite pocket knives?

I’ve carried this UKPK every day almost since 2008.

    Ray Mears W/S woodlore

It is yeah, the stock is much thicker at 5mm as well, and the distal taper makes a huge difference. Chunkier profile handles too.

The original Alan Wood. Blade shape is near perfect and I like his chunkier palm swells and flared butts.

    Ray Mears W/S woodlore

It’s just the pictures. It’s a completely different weight, thickness, blade, grind and handle shape from the WS and previous Woodlore iterations. Totally different looking knife.

Nice one Tom, they’re excellent. Not sure that she was gravid. The bloating is most likely caused by necrotic gasses.

I know. Let’s have a leaf with a splash of water underneath. The birch tree was crucial to our living and evolution, and water was a bit important too

I’m talking from the perspective of being on here for 20 years though. Toddy and many others still have had their same avatar for that long. So I’ve known them longer than my own child. And it’s always great when I’ve taken a break and come back on to find them still chatting away as usual...

Nope you can’t change your avatar now. It’s been you for years. It’s a shame the new forum software has reduced avatars down to such a small less defined and cropped image than they used to be. Many of the avatars on here are as familiar as the faces of my family and close friends.

I’ve got mine. Everyone else can get their own.

I like the BcUK logo. Been the same for decades and its familiarity is reassuring and forefront in my mind as much as Coca Cola, the Tube roundel, Rolex coronet, men at work and other prolific images.

Too right. I’ll 100% be there next time as it’s not to far from me.
