making a broadhead from a teaspoon.

Nice idea, but I think the spoonhead would have 1 very fatal flaw against the purpose built boradhead. I can see it, it it was used that it would hit bone and just fold over, where as the Woodsmans and Magnus would put up a much stiffer fight before doing the same. I was messing around with my...

    Acrylic Scales, any good?

I never found them that much of a problem. I went acrylic as I wanted something to withstand bleach as this si my filleting knife. To shape, it resited my 12" file and my best efforts, so resorted to a demel and 20k rpm! Never even started to melt it.

    Bow Fishing?

A very concise answer and 100% accurate. On tidal waters, it is a grey area, technically it should be legal, but I don't know any bowhunter brave enough to test the theory!

    AirArms S410 carbine Bipod

if you dont want to drill your stock you have 2 options 1 of which wont work. Option 1, a cheap and nasty clip on plasic bipod that attacheds to the barrel (which in turn flexs the barrel so wont work as it will move the point of impact and lead to a potential bent barrel) Option 2, a set of...

Need help sourcing a bit of kit for a project

Anyone know where I can get my hands on a old knackered bivi bag? It can be torn / ripped thread bare and doesn't even have to be waterproof any more. I have a brand new 1 here but don't want to sacrafice it for the project. Cheers Si

To bi(pod) or not to bi(pod)

If your going for a bipod, get a Harris one, best by a mile. Trust me, I have 1 of those cheap plastic 1's and a B square. Both reside in the spares bin next to the scrap pile.
