It was paella,it had squid and prawns in it. we was going to collect some limpits but there was gail force winds at the coast so we didn't bother collecting any.

Thanks for the comments. Although it is not detachable it does strike sparks but will probably never get used as a striker because I always carry 1- or 2 on my person.

Just for fun and I like the idea I made a strike a light belt buckle. Its not perfect but it is the first belt buckle I have forged.

Ive used a Svord and I own one of JoJos friction folders. The svord has a different blade shape,the svord tang doesnt sit flush with the handle which I found makes it uncomfortable to use,the Svord doesn't feel as well constructed as JoJos knife. Id take JoJos design over a Svord any day...

I cannot remember the exaxt name of the camp site but its over the road from the entrance to Dol-Gam off the A5. Ill see if I can find the name as my Brother-in-law uses this site quite often.

Its not curry Mate its paella and it took all of ten minutes as I was vey hungry and had seconed helpings:)

Yep I water quench mine and get a good shower of sparks,oil quenched doesn't seem to give the same results.
