    i have had this pot for awhile now. I was rereading Bill Masons Path of the paddle and there was the pot! Well almost exact anyway. Still loving it, after having it out on a few snowy trips... snow has only been gone for a 10 days over here in Edmonton :(

    Here in Canada, It is the BUSH!!!! Thick, dense, full of bogs,bears,wolves,Mountains lions,Wolverines, just plain low on the food chain nasty,...pure Heaven!

    I am in Canada, so it will be a lot cheaper shipping. ( $5.00 more then when he ships to the States, so not too bad. Think it was $32 all together ) I recently got a great deal off Ebay for a used Le Creuset stew pot from a seller in France, that would have cost $300 + here in Edmonton. only...

    first aid kit ( always) compass , map, and Gps if I have never been there or If it could blizzard ( very tough to find your way out if you cannot see ! ) food ( lots )

    use mine in the hunting blind this year and while ice fishing. I am going on a 2 night trip to Carson lake to try for some trout through the ice. Will try it out in the sleeping bag then.

    Recomend a good camp bed please

    You could look for a Coleman Cot, they are lower, and have legs like a lawn chair so easier on your tent floor. Keep in mind also, that you can stow gear under the cot so what you are giving up in vertical height you are gaining in floor space. Just my 2 cents to muddy the waters... :)

    I have been smoking a pipe for 10yrs + . usually only 2-6 pipes a week no inhaling and outdoors only. I know it still isn't great for you, but I don't want to die perfectly healthy either. I smoked cigarettes for 20 yrs. gave those up and started on the Brier. To this day I can't stand Cigarette...

    hurricane lanterns

    When I need big light I pull out the Coleman ( field dressing, cooking in the tent in winter etc,...) but for a nice gentle light around the fire, worth the few bucks!
