    lovely work, but if you ask me, you should work a little extra on the sides, try sanding a little more and then burnishing the leather for a comepletelly smooth finish

    you can also try damping the leather with hot water and let it dry, it usually stiffens a lot, but be careful to not to use very hot (boiling or near) water Esteban

    nice thread, the navajo bread is a lot like pizza doug, at least how I prepare my pizza doug :) I don't have any bannock recipe to add. maybe a recipe for oatmeal cookies, I don'tknow if can be cooked over an open fire,I'd rather cook them at home and carry them in a bag as trail food...

    Thank you both for the video and recommendations, I can't believe I didn't found that video on my own. I will have to use the technique from the video at first because the knife doen't have a proper edge yet, then I'll probable just strop the outside of the blade bevel. Cheers! Esteban

    Hello everyone, I've never had a spoon knife before, so a good friend made me a blade and I am finishing the handle, but now I realized that I don't have a clue of how am I supposed to sharpen it. I must say that these kind of tools aren't common here. thank you Esteban

    i have been running on them since October 2011 I really like them. I also use the merrell barefoot for longer than 24 km distances. it might take a while for your feet to get strong enough to wear them for long periods of time or distance
