When you are in the forest or wherever you bivvy out, what do you eat for breakfast? I find this a pain of a meal to plan when I am out, main meals are easy, but breakfast seems so uninspiring. Ideas please.

A further thought. Just down the road from us we have a town called Ribe, there is Europes biggest viking market there every year around May I think. this is really worth a visit you can buy so many hand made axes, knives, blades, leather goods etc. I really recommend it.

I am in Esbjerg, a great place for me, lots of dunes, forests and beaches. Skive is a great place. We just need some mountains in Denmark that would be great. Mind you we now have wolves in the local forest which is fantastic.

Hi, Does anyone have an etrex10 backup file I could beg/borrow/steal? I have managed to lose my basemap and tracks. i think the file system has been altered by accident and the machine is not happy, my backup is also knackered :(. Any help gratefully received. cheers

I was kindly given an etrex 10. I love it as a trip computer, but map wise it is of course really limited, are there any GPS wizards out there who can help me get more out of the unit, can the memory be boosted? Maps added, detail improved? I am guessing it can't be done but any tips and tricks...

Well OG is the way to go by the sound of things, so will do OG and or Black I think. I will PM you when the time comes. Not for a little while yet though.

I am working on the final shape, but mummy style with additional shoulder width, fully baffled zips and shoulder baffles. Shape/style is more or less the same as snugpak antractica, so plenty of room at the feet without so much that they become cold.

I have a mesh patch on my bivvy bag where i sometimes put a small glow stick to find "home" in the dark when i am torch free

They are -30 duck down, half zipped. Personally i use a bivvy bag so colour no issue, i am more looking to peoples preferred colours/patterns
