    Paramo like fabric

Ok thanks, i forgot about this company, i’ll check that out. although i suspect the fabric used to be a proprietary one, and quite probably impossible to find the exact same fabric, but if someone know something really close, I’d be interested

    Paramo like fabric

For the pattern indeed, that’s what i have been thinking too, but i still have to find the perfect athletic fitting smock on me for that too. If i have enough time, I’ll try to make my own pattern from adjusting a not so perfect owned smock, but time often comes too short… And i still need to...

    Paramo like fabric

Its indeed too short, i could sew longer sleeves ends and same for the hem but im not so sure about the result, and i dont mind making one from scratch. Although i still have to find a good "athletic" anorak sewing pattern

    Paramo like fabric

Hi all, I’m looking to make a windproof anorak, basically the paramo fuera would be perfect but unfortunately the sizing is not so good for me, so I’d like to make a diy version of it. (i’m tall and thin, and would like to use it mountain biking/touring too) would anyone have an idea of what...

Wanted Aiguille alpine around 40/45 size L or alike

Hello, needing a new backpack, I’d like a lot to get an Aiguille Alpine, around 40/45L in size L would be perfect, or another rucksack like that, simple and robust. Would anyone here would be willing to sell such a backpack ? Best regards

Wanted Aiguille Alpine backpack size L around 40-45L, or a retired one for scavenging some pieces

Hi everyone ! I had to sell my crux backpack due to the belt being too thin and too flexible for my needs, and while my homemade frame loader is nice with heavy stuff, it's a bit bouncy and full of straps for the usual days out. So it seems that i'm back again in search of the perfect backpack...

Unsuccessful search for lightweight simple high leather boots, close to trail shoes flexibility

some Waldviertler boots seems to perfectly fit the bill indeed, i've got other priorities for my money at the moment, but i do hope i'll find the right opportunity to get my hands on a pair some day. Dartmoor seems fine but quite out of my price range. As for AKU, they rather make usual...

Unsuccessful search for lightweight simple high leather boots, close to trail shoes flexibility

Van Wild : I got them from someone who was selling his own as they were too large for him. But i know that if you want some stuff from russia you can trust profarmy.ru They have real russian prices (and not high margin for airsoft russian soldiers wannabe), and shipping costs are reasonable. A...

    Good fjallraven 'trouser' alternatives

Hi Paul_B In my opinion hip width is more useful than waist width nowadays because there’s almost no trousers made with a high waist anymore, they’re all aimed to be worn on the hips (or just a tiny bit above), even in the outdoor brands. For your questions considering the revolutionrace...

Unsuccessful search for lightweight simple high leather boots, close to trail shoes flexibility

Thanks for the Infos Dingo greens, that sounds interesting indeed and it really matches what i’d be looking for. For something hand-stiched in europe that can be repaired it’s not so expensive, and it’s good to know that it’ll survive real outdoor use too. It’s still expensive for my wallet at...

    Good fjallraven 'trouser' alternatives

I have looked for the same thing as fjallraven trousers are really expensive especially with the quality nowdays that is far from what it used to be. Considering you’re looking for some poly/cotton trousers that are not awfully looking and durable, here are the alternatives i have found...

Thanks, didn't know about this brand, rather city oriented and pricey but they do look interesting, I will keep an eye on it, I have seen some interesting "like new" secondhand opportunities.

Unsuccessful search for lightweight simple high leather boots, close to trail shoes flexibility

Much more flexible and lighter than the usual combat boots I have seen previously though, and no heels, so a little bit different still.
