    Best things for antlers is fiebings dark brown leather dye . I’ve used it loads on antlers , i sand bits down to show the grain in the antler .

    decided make my self a new tomahawk belt loop as the other one I made was more of an axe belt loop and I don’t carry an axe.i just nicked this up nice and easy but does the job . Picture of the axe belt loop and the the new tomahawk belt loop made from 3 mm veg tan and a stainless steel ring...

    Always use this method my self .i just as it I love hunting squirrels to cook on open fire in a cast iron skillet with a little flour and duck/Goose fat .

    Burn it with a gas torch till it’s as dark as you like then rub down with wire wool . Wipe with some cloth and then clear vanish

    I love mine . You can tap the head of the shaft so you can store it in bottom of bag can also use just the head for making feather sticks depending on how sharp you have it.plus you can split larger logs with it so don’t have to baton your knife blade I also chuck mine (dead tree stumps ) pulse...

    Sewing canvas

    Hi it’s a Toyota sewing rs2000 sewing machine that’s all I know . I had it given me as a the person wasn’t using it any more .. yes sorry I didn’t explain that too well..I was wondering if I could sew 2 layers of 15 oz canvas so I could makes bags jackets ect ect .. and yes the veg tan is 4 mm...

    I have a sewing machine here made by Toyota . I was wondering how thick of canvas I can sew on it . It will happily and easily sew through 4 Mm veg tan leather and its easily sewn through 5 layers of jeans . Cheers ... sorry if this in wrong section

    I’m not sure on weight as haven’t worked with canvas so I didn’t want order it and it not be heavy enough or it be to heavy ..ive had a bit of a search around and most anoraks I’ve seemed to find are 10 to 12 oz so think going go with one them
