    Hultafors trekking axe 800g?

    I got one of these for my first bushcraft axe and i love it. Many use it for splitting logs after cutting with bowsaw. Only downside to it is the sheath that comes with it is not very good at all. I am still trying to find a good replacement sheath.

    Quite disheartened with the direction of this thread. It reminds me of the gamekeepers "controlling" birds of prey numbers just for the posh folk to shoot grouse ect. I would much rather see otters on the waterways than fisherman.

    freestanding mosquito tent

    Just took delivery of the mossi tents. The mesh is slightly larger than a midge hood type mesh. Its much the same as an normal inner tent. I hope its midge proof :)

    Thanks for all you comments on these. I purchased three for me and the boys. Be nice to sleep with sleeping bag open in hot weather without getting eaten.

    How do I stop getting bit?

    Just got some Xpel roll on repellent from local poundworld. Contains 30% DEET. Not used it yet though so i dont know how effective it is. Worth a try for a quid :)
