Hi guys, I need a multi tool to go in my pocket/ on my belt at work. Due to the place I work it can’t have a knife as a part of it. I remember sone time ago someone made a simple tool with a number of useful edges (box tape cutter?) plus a flat screwdriver edge?... not sure, rambling a bit now...
I have paddled and explored from a coracle for a number of years. Lovely stable (once you’re used to how they move) platform and surprising nippy...I find them to be efficient to paddle with very little effort producing movement...it’s all in the technique I think...sadly my coracle has long...
Freeplay brand are still the best in my opinion. Early ones are robust and employ a mixture of solar, wind-up and short term storage of power to give 30 mins of listening.

...we too are reliant on wood and coal for heating. We took out the diesel heating due to the cost of running it v’s effectiveness...only good in autumnal evening and spring mornings! We do have radiators but via a back boiler. TBH I can’t imagine there’s many boaters that burn wet wood...as far...
That is fantastic! Thank you! Much improved on my own 1 1/2 hr burn...absolutely down to my candles...going to get some new ones ordered. Cheers matey j

Is that to do with the direction of the thread once formed into the wick do you think?...I hadn’t realised that a dipped candle had a doubled over wick...wonder if that’s why it burns more efficiently?

Those are entirely a new proposition to me! I did consider swapping to using the small miners lamps which I imagine were made to manage a bit of tipping!

Ill have a look at those, thank you. Do you get much mess and waste with these? I seem to spend more time chipping the hard wax off than I do enjoying the light!
