    Vegetarian/vegan camp food?

There are many options, but much depends on the circumstances. For instance will you have abundant access to fuel and water? If so lentils are easy to cook from dry. They don't need soaking. Add some fat/oil, salt and ground spices, onion/garlic, and you are off. A tube of tomato purée goes...

There is always titanium. If you can find something suitable in that material. Otherwise, thin carbon or stainless steel is robust.

Aluminium potjies exist - they can melt if you are not careful - liquid in the vessel mitigates. Aluminium transfers heat very well. It has been discussed here before https://bushcraftuk.com/community/threads/aluminium-potjie.163715/

Carbon steel is cast iron's little brother. Works well. Other alternative is aluminium. Aluminium pans are very lightweight, and you can get alu Dutch ovens too. They are very popular in the Caribbean and called Dutch pots or a "Dutchie" - plenty for sale on eBay and not expensive either...

Yes, but others may benefit. :D That song has its origins from another track which had another phrase. They changed it to suit radio audiences. Great track though and brings back some great memories of the era.

    No Carbs

Sorry - but this is an insult. In my case it is hereditary - as it is for many people with Type 2. Type 1 it is often an auto-immune thing where the body attacks the pancreas, basically killing it. Honey isn't a cure-all for everything.

Yes, exercise helps - as does losing weight, and of course taking your medication(s), but there is no cure for diabetes (yet), and these steps merely help you mitigate the condition you have so you can live longer and not get any complications. If you have T2 diabetes, you can't just eat like...

    No Carbs

Really depends. If you are T2 diabetic - you really need to avoid carbs in general. Everyone is a bit different of course, but that is the general mantra. Full grain or not - it is still carbs, and while the fibre in full grain helps a bit - it doesn't mean you can eat the way you used to or...

If you aren't bothered by having legs on your pot - have a look at a carribean "Dutch Pot" or "dutchie" too. Basically what they call a Dutch Oven - but usually made from Aluminum. You can get all manner of sizes - i've seen up to 50cm. Look on eBay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/195679029615...

Leaky gut syndrome isn't really a diagnosable or fully recognised condition - but If cutting gluten helps you of whatever symptoms you have - go for it. Note that oats have gluten too, albeit a different form of it.

    No Carbs

Gluten isn't the problem for diabetes though - carbohydrates are. Gluten is a protein. Unless you are intolerant of gluten - there is no need to avoid it.

Thinly shredded white cabbage makes an ok substitute for noodles. But everyones tastes are different. if you are T2 - get a continuous glucose monitor. You can get a free sample of the freestyle Libre from Abbott. Gives great insights to how particular foods affect your blood sugar.

You cannot do that. Once it is FAC, it cannot be downgraded to non-FAC. You either sell it as FAC, or strip the non pressure bearing bits for parts to sell, and scrap the rest.
