No way they are way higher than England because we have so many weapons of various sorts floating around and easy access.:BlueTeamE
However despite the problems a politician proposing any sort of limitations on the ownership of weapons in the US is pretty much committing political suicide...
I feel sorry for you guys with your knife laws.
Where I live is pretty wide open as far as knives and in my state you can even carry a gun without a permit as long as it's in the open.
These have only gotten SOME use so far
This one has got a lot of use
This one too
I've used this one some but only when it's supposed to be raining when I go.
IMO paracord handles are made for the same reasons as coated blades. To reduce labor cost.
Nothing wrong with that but then to sell such a blade for the same price as you could get a satin finish and a nice set of scales is a great feat of marketing:rolleyes:
I sent that shed my wife found to Mike Stewart and he made those for me. Nice guy:cool:
My wife is the antler shed finding queen. She found 4, 1 matched set last year!
I love the ones I have. My favorite is 3/32" thick (the stripey one)
I also like the bushcraft style knives but a lot of them are too thick like 4mm? One I really like of those is the Skookum cause it is only 1/8"
Outstanding review. I've got one and the design has really impressed me taking it backpacking and stuff but you really put it thru the paces!! :beerchug: :You_Rock_
Anything that gets people outside, brings folks together and enhances their knowledge and appreciation of the natural world is a good thing. True there's some money being made but I'd rather see it made that way than logging and mining everyplace:27:
What I like about it, over some other Bushcraft type blades, is that it is thin enough so that if you slice something fairly thick it doesn't feel like you are prying it apart.
Hey! I got mine and really like it!! I like the neck sheath too, but in case anyone is interested my sheath I got for my Bark River Bravo 1 fits the Skookum really well. Price is listed as $30 US

So how exactly do you screw those down tight???
Do you glue the ferrules or whatever they are called into the handles beforehand and then torque the bolt down or what?
I ordered one. They look great IMO and the price is great also.
I like that they have the woodlore look sort of but they have a butt cap so they have the hammering aspect like the F1 has!
