less than an hour until i'm emasculated

Ach your all scaring the poor boy! My OH had it done about ten years ago, (volunteered himself fortunatly) apparently the only slightly worrying moment was when they brought in the two half bricks in case the power went off. And there were no problems afterwards.

Making Kazoos- good intro to knife work

After a suggestion from another member, I thought I would put up a tutorial on making wooden Kazoos. I have made these with many different groups from nursery children to scouts, and find them a great way of introducing basic knife work. And of course they have an easily made object that...

Whats The Worst Drink You Have Been Drunk On ?

I haven't seen that stuff since I raided my Dads drinks cupboard when I was 17 :) My worst ever was Jamesons Irish whiskey. I used to drink it fairly regularly, then one night a friend and I made it through two and a bit bottles. It took three days for the vice crushing my brain to be eased...

    Interview Help

What course are you applying for? It may be that part of the 'test' is to see if you can at least imagine yourself 40yrs in the future and relate why you want to do that course to where you see yourself going in the world.

    Right help me out experts!

Don't laugh. But the Fiat panda 4x4 is very popular round here where we have high level routes, single track roads, farm and forestry tracks, and plenty of snow in a year. It doesn't feel like a small car to drive as you have an elevated seat position. I regularly pass Range Rovers and...

    lamb on the bone

I've been less than 10metres from one in flight. It certainly made me jump. I felt pretty exposed out on that hilltop on my own. It circled me three times before I took the hint and cleared off!

    lamb on the bone

Golden eagles are native and not re-introduced. But Mull also has a population of white tailed Sea eagles which were re-introduced from Norway, and they make the Goldies look crow sized! And have been known to try and catch Red Deer (not sucessfully though).
