    Golite Hex 3

I have a Hex 3 for sale, comes with the multi part pole (I've never used that), the pole that you can use with a standard walking pole (I used several times). Along with pegs, lines etc I've used this 5 or 6 times, it'll sleep 2 people and kit in comfort, 3 with kit at a push, or at least...

    Fjallraven Forester Trouser advice please

http://www.tamarackoutdoors.co.uk/sizecharts.htm That should help with sizing, it's where I got my Fjallraven Vidda trousers from and I can't fault the service I received.

    Snugpak Elite 4 - Softie 18 - Nanok -10C

I use the Nanok -10 in winter and the snugpak elite 3 at all other times, the Nanok is certainly warmer and roomier around the chest but it is also heavier and does not pack down as small as the snugpak. I'm sad to hear that Nanok are not going to be available in the UK anymore, I bought my...

Group Buy on a Nessmuk Axe?

If it matched the cutting power of an SFA for circa the same size but a bit more weight then I'd be interested. The extra use/flexibility and dare I say sheer coolness of a Ness axe would enable me to part with £100 happily. If someone told me that it would shave the hairs off my arm I'd pay up...

    snugpak elite sleeping bags?

elite 3 as well, been very happy with it. Not as much room as Nanok -10 but lighter and packs smaller. I was using the Nanok for winter and the snugpak for warmer weather, took the snugpak with me a couple of weeks ago to Scotland and it was pretty cold and snowing and I was warm enough.

Completely off topic but if anyone's curious.....

Ahjno - to be 100% honest I read your post as a flame on the guy, I also broke my golden rule (as I have again!) of ignoring posts like that. However maybe English is not your strong point and I'm misreading what you are trying to say. I'll not post in this thread again, in fact I'll not look in...

I agree, very good answer to such a 'useful' second post. I'm more than a little suprised that they can't say what steel they make the blades from...
