    A perfect bushcraft gun??

i suggest you buy a weihrauch silencer, they completley hide the noise of the gun, i have shot a rabbit behind another and it never knew. i then killed the front one :)

    opinions on dog hunting?

why dogs not guns? more likely to get stopped with a gun as stated above. it is more likely the dog will either kill it or miss it completely, whereas a gun can miss but still injure the animal. the animal stands a chance. its natural, predator vs prey.

    opinions on dog hunting?

i think the fella in question was wrong. as to the question, why dogs not guns? in my opinion, people use dogs (or in my case hawks) to catch the rabbit as the quarry has the chance to escape even with a good dog. if your a good shooter that rabbit stands no chance. the way this fella's dog...

    A bird in the hand.

if you get a bird of prey on your window, this could do more harm than good with protective parents trying to mob it :)

Thought yo guys might help.... Buzard at night?

i am a falconer and judging by what your saying, my first thoughts were eagle owl, there is a couple of breeding pairs in britain. i can rule out black eagle for you as to have a wingspan of 5 foot, each wing must be 2.5ft which is too small for a black eagle. there is every possibility it could...

    Pellets or Poo

im no expert, but if the first two where a bird of prey, the bones would'nt be there. i own a harris hawk and a gyr x saker falcon, when these cast pellets they consist only of fur & feather. i too believe the first two are fox. as for the last photos, i think you are right with the grouse...

    Buzzard Plucking Post.

is it definatley buzzard? as a falconer, i have found it is a real challenge for a buzzard to take a rabbit as their feet are tiny. they will take the odd one or two, but they tend to opt for easy meals as to not waste energy. im not saying it isn't buzzard but i cannot see a buzzard carrying a...
