we excavated a pool and all the spoil is at the bottom of our garden being used by any local builders who promise not to take too much (soo to be a duck pond)

yeah i am good with a map and compass and my dad is teaching me to navigate by the stars (ex navy so he knows what he on about) so shouldn't be any problems there
if you use a spinning shiny lure and a medium sized hook the mackeral should go for it (maybe a bit of bait as well) and if you are lucky you may have a sea bass on the end although they fight like a b*tch and might bite through your line (so use a wire line at the end)
i totally agree only 10% of our senses perception we would be able to recognise i.e 90% of the stuff you see simply goes towards giving you a feeling (good or bad) therest is the stuff you actually see and could actually pick out

i think i read somewhere that before the outside world came to the inuit peoples they (the inuits that is) had never had a dental problems because their diet contained no simple carbohydrates which cause mouth rotting to occour

its a jet lighter from cotswold outdoor for 15 quid but i only use it for emergency lighting
don't get lazy because then these ancient skills will slowly be forgotten
