Got my hands on some air tanks ages ago.. sick of tripping over them so I thought I would try and make a tipi stove.....Seems to work really well, just got to sort out the flue now.....
Sorry about the pictures couldn't turn them around..
Barethrills got it spot on. All i did with the little knife was to use letter's from hobbycraft. The bowie was a stencil i had made now to make more knives.
Finally got up the nerve to have a go, and im quite pleased with the results....amazing what you can do with some cotton buds, sticky tape and a battery charger...
After using the large bushknife i made (and my mate now owns) i thought i want one now!!!
I made this from a leaf spring...
Sheath is a bit ropey but it does the job!!!!
Comments always welcome..

Hi, a few people ask if i could put a hoe type thing on the back of a tomahawk, had a day off last week and come up with this....
Have done a bit of digging with it made a little trench.
What do you think???
Finshed this off this weekend, from an old ball peen hammer laying around the workshop.
Is the spike too much??? let me know what you think!
Many thanks
Paul.
Made these strikers this weekend all hardened and ready, but have not got any flint to try them, does anyone know where i can get some in the West Yorkshire area, or i would trade one for some flint...... These strikers were Reliant Robin leaf springs....
Hello Scott.
These are the materials i used, except for the tomahawk which was a ball peen hammer. The small cooking knife was the rebar which i forged, the rest were stock removal method, the parang being an old leaf spring and the leather handled knife was a file...
Thanks for the comments...
After a few beers i was asked by a few mates if i could turn various bits of old metal into some bushcraft stuff, may have got a bit silly with the pointy bit on the tomahawk, but my mates were very suprised with the outcome of my challenge.
