    F1 Dangler Sheath ?

I had both of these sheaths for my F1. They were both decent quality but being a fisherman and up and down to a chair a lot the dangler, having more movement worked better for my needs.

    Pimped My Bevel Filing Jig.

There was a fitted clamping mechanism on an older version of the jig but i scrapped that idea. It just didn't have the power to grip effectively. I just use two G clamps now. The sliding mechanism is for symmetry when I flip the blade over. The two attached pins are the end of travel for the...

In my work they are called terminal clamps. They are used in the electrical switchgear industry. They come from Japan in boxes and are supplied as a fitting kit with industrial circuit breakers. I'm not sure if they can be bought loose.

    Pimped My Bevel Filing Jig.

There are no drawings in afraid Pete. It was made from the scrap bin in my work. You are more than free to copy it. The basic format probably goes back to the bronze age so dont worry about upsetting anyone on the copyright front. The uprights are M10 threaded rod.All sizes are worked around the...

Yeah, that makes good sense. I'm looking forward to seeing it progress. I'm picturing it with dyed tiger stripe maple to match the sheath. It'll be interesting to see what you choose.

    Filleting and transporting

I fish for mackerel from the shore. Fairly heavy spinning rod,40lb braided line, link swivel, set of four metallic feathers and a three ounce pear lead. Cast as far as you can, allow to sink for a few seconds and retrieve sink and draw. As soon as you hook one, keep the line tight but don't start...

    Filleting and transporting

As long as you don't have any dead salmon or sea trout there wont be a problem. The area you talk about can fish well. Plenty of big flounder, a few codling, big mullet in the summer and I'm hearing that small bass are starting to show up. Mackerel are few and far between until you get down to...

    Filleting and transporting

Most of the Clyde estuary is covered under the river Leven and Loch Lomond permit. Bailiffs do patrol it. It only covers salmon and sea trout. You can pretty much fish anywhere you like for sea fish but the further up the river you come the less mackerel you will encounter. I clean my fish then...

How many knives for a bushcraft trip.

These are my users. Selection depends on the nature of the trip. I also have a few drawer queens. I did carry a Fallkniven S1 for a few years and I really liked it but used it in part trade for a grail knife. I'd love to get my grubby mitts on another one but the price lately prohibits me.

How many knives for a bushcraft trip.

Belt knife and a folder as backup for me. Just depends where I'm going and how long I plan to be.
