    a hand miter saw blade may be a better option, about 40mm x 2mm worth of carbon spring steel i made a food prep blade out of one, its still in the shed waiting to be handled though :D

    was this the man with the cabin? if so he put in an appeal to the council, there is a law that says you can claim a outbuilding/shed as living accommodation if you've been there for so many years, the council voted and he was forced to pull it down iirc

    made a sheath/pouch for a knife today

    its got a doubled bit of material stitched into the bottom, thats why the bottom left hand corner is a bit dodgy, 4 layers of material and webbing the point of the blade isn't to pointy so i should be ok *gulp* :D

    as southey said spokes for pot stand you can cut a rim in 1/2 or a 1/3 and make a bow for a bow drill set you can use a rim a fork and a handle bar and make a makeshift b-b hoop candle holder

    i know nothing about axes but what about a double bit axe, cutting head and a splitting head not sure who makes them or where to get them, you'll have to google/bing it gb do a double bit but i think there both for cutting, green wood and seasoned wood
